As a student of effective communication I am confused. On Wednesday NPR fired Juan Williams for the opinion he expressed about the feelings of concern he had when boarding a plane with people who wore “Muslim garb”.
I listen to NPR, watch Fox News, read the New York Times, Wall Street Journal…consider myself an informed citizen. Is this response from NPR censorship or where we are with political correctness? Is NPR enforcing standards of Impartiality? Help me out, what do you think? What was your reaction to this story?
